Heyo, I'm Raquel!

My roots come from a little farm of about 10 acres along the Skunk River in the wonderful state of Iowa. I have lots of interests and hobbies (as evidenced by my degree from Iowa State University: major in Criminal Justice Studies and minors in Psychology and Animal Science), as well as challenges.

I started this blog (just last year, in 2024!) in hopes of letting people know that they're not alone in what they may be going through or what they might be feeling. I know I have felt that way occasionally, and it's comforting to learn there's others out there "with" me. I'm rooting for you, I care about you, and you are beautiful!

Additionally, I wanted to challenge and learn about myself in a different way. I've had personal social media accounts for a while, but have struggled feeling comfortable putting myself out there all that much. So, I figured this might be a good way to push myself.

I'm so glad you're here, and I want to thank you for reading my stories.
